We continue our bio pics of our staff: Hello, Im Tyler. I was born and raised in Old Town Orange, where I currently reside and I’m also the 5th generation of my family here in Orange. I attended local schools until I was 20, when I decided to drop out of college to work full time and move out of my parent’s house with some friends to Newport Beach…a decision I will never regret! A friend and fellow TCC employee introduced me to Nick in 2015 and I guess the rest is history. I bartended for a little over 4 years before stepping into a sales role, which I now hold for the OC territory. 1. Favorite event I’ve been a part of at TCC? a. When we did MTV’s Wonderland TV Show. That was pretty cool. 2. What’s your favorite restaurant or type of food? a. Mexican Food and there’s this little hole in the wall spot by my house that is the best. I play lead guitar in a classic rock cover band and have played shows at the House of Blues and 2 events for the Anaheim Ducks. 4. If you could have lunch with anyone dead or alive, who would it be and why? a. Guy Fieri. He’s the mayor of flavortown. 5. What cocktail best describes you? a. Not sure, what best describes me, but my favorite cocktail is the classic Old Fashioned.

Our continued bio pic on our amazing staff. Ian Craven was born in Southern California, living in Huntington Beach until 7 and then we moved to Corona. While in junior high, my family and I moved to a little Victorian-style town in Southwest Missouri. After graduating high school, I worked in the service industry (restaurants, malls, etc.) for a few years while I attended Missouri Southern State University. At 21, I began bartending within the four-state area (casinos, bars, etc), eventually graduating with a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology. In August of 2008, I moved back to Southern California and started bartending for Pacific Coast Bar & Beverage (PCBB) and when we evolved into The Cocktail Concierge (TCC) I stepped into the position of Operations Manager. I can’t put my finger on a certain favorite event…from small, intimate weddings to huge, corporate extravaganzas, they’re all fun and memorable in different ways. Whether that be brightening a bride and groom’s special day, mingling with movie stars, or simply being given the opportunity to feel the g-force of newly manufactured electric car. What’s your favorite restaurant or type of food? I’m pretty laid back when it comes to dining, give me either TK Burger or a rundown Chinese restaurant and you’ve got a happy camper. If I could have lunch with someone, dead or alive, who would it be and why? If I could have lunch with someone, dead or alive, I’d probably choose Thomas Paine. He was a bit ahead of his time. What cocktail best describes me? A “Lunchbox” (a shot glass split of SoCo and Amaretto dropped in a Coors Light with a splash of oj atop) would probably best describe me, because it’s surprisingly sophisticated. What’s something interesting about me? An interesting fact about myself is that I’ve been to 49 of our 50 states. Saving the largest for last.

Hey everyone, this is Chad Dickey and I have been in the bar service business since February of 2004. I first started my bar service with three friends, then known as Pacific Coast Bar and Beverage. In June of 2012, I went solo, purchased my restaurant in San Juan Capistrano and re-formed my business into The Cocktail Concierge. I grew up in Prescott, AZ, went to college at Mesa State in Grand Junction, CO, earning a degree in Environmental Engineering. I moved to California in 1999 and soon got married in 2003. I now have two kids that are ages 13 and 10. A few other fun facts about myself are that I love mountain biking and doing anything outdoors in my free time. I also coach club soccer and basketball for my son. What is your favorite event that you have been part of at The Cocktail Concierge? I think the best event I worked was an ESPY post party at the Vibiana in July of 2010. We had just started working at this location and was absolutely blown away by the scale of this event, from décor, to layout, plus, was impressed with the athletes and movie stars that attended. After the Espy’s, I knew that The Cocktail Concierge could take on any event that came our way. Confidence in producing events is only as good as the team around you!!! What is your favorite restaurant or type of food? My favorite food is most definitely Mexican, as I love anything spicy. What is something interesting about you? I had at least 5 business fails in my 20’s. Including, starting a t-shirt partnership business with Hawaiian firefighters who taught surf lessons, a park bench that had a phone connected to 911 built into it (post 9/11 era), and, a sports bar in Phoenix, just to name a few. Guess business success is all a numbers game, plus a little hard work and a touch of good luck!!! If you could have lunch with someone dead or alive, who would it be and why? I would love to have lunch with Alex Honnold, the famous rock climber. I think I would like to know what it’s like to free climb 2,000 feet without a rope and control your emotions for the duration of the climb. What Cocktail Best describes you? I love Gin and Bourbon cocktails the most.
